My new computer is here! I brought it home on Tuesday evening and introduced it to the cats. We all had a long chat and exchanged opinions and impressions. The cats and I had some trouble catching up with the machine's answers, because it's so darn speedy!
I'm a happy gal now. After all the pain I had with the old boy, this one works like a dream. I'm currently trying to program it to make coffee for me every morning. He is more inclined to juices and natural beverages but I think my authority will overrule his misgivings. (I'm studying a manual on exercising authority...)
Wednesday and Thursday were spent playing with the new toy, an extremely serious business, I assure you (playing, I mean). I now have Photoshop CS3 -the whole suite, in fact- and many things to discover. UltraFractal works like ten times faster than before!

Next week will be Easter here, the Catholic Easter, and the local Association for Cultural Activities will be holding a small Art and Artisan Crafts exhibition in the townhall. They suggested I exhibit some of my pieces so voilà, I have a new mini-exhibition to prepare. Fun!

Whimsical, sensitive, elegant and defying are some of the adjectives that come to my mind when I view ball-jointed-Alice's work . Her fragile, touching girls are also enticing, mysterious females living in a world of brittle ink-lines and inquisitive photo-shoots. There's something -lots- of Egon Schiele in her drawings and a soft breeze of Pop Surrealism in her photographs. (I wonder if she agrees...)
