Lulu is sixteen years old,
pretty, cheerful and VERY romantic.
She likes to read love-stories in bed
before going to sleep every night
and cries at the happy endings.
She has a lamp with a pink shade
and pink curtains on the windows.
There are so many flowers on her bed cover
that they literally spill to the floor,
and every day she picks them up
and lovingly puts them back among the
embroideries, where they belong.
So when I saw this nightgown
I knew it was for her.

With Lulu's permission, this will be
my entry to Michele Dessureault's
Nice UF Fridays "Spring" contest [link]

This is not quite my style and
I had great fun working on this crazy,
carefree design.

*laughs softly* You know when I saw the title in my watch-box I got a picture of Lulu from Final Fantasy X (videogame), but this was nothing like that Lulu :) Not at all. She's gothic, dark-like lady. But this Lulu just made you feel as if you can step outside and shout to the world that SPRING IS COMING :) Yeah, a very inspirational Lulu indeed, and for that I thank you.

There seem to be many Lulus in fiction. Another one is the protagonist of Frank Wedekind's plays "Pandora" and "Earth Spirit" (I hope I remember the names correctly :blushes:). She was a beautiful femme fatale, who's allure on men caused death and misery. I thought I would create a young, frivolous and harmless Lulu, who loves the benign side of love and plays with flowers. I imagine that it must be too... I don't play that much games or read much books though so I don't really know what you speak of. BUt I think you made your Lulu just as you described it. Well, it gives me a happy face :)
