Playing with watercolours and colour pencils again.
I posted this into the Open Format category because it's not a portrait (you had already noticed that, hadn't you? ) I just drew it out of my imagination and had a hard time finding a title for it.
For some reason, it reminded me of some of the paintings by Toulouse-Lautrec, like Yvette Guilbert .
I also remembered one of his posters, Jane Avril , that finally inspired me the title.
I used Photoshop to add the text and a couple of additional stains, that come straight from gorjuss-stock's gallery and are her trully Gorjuss Splatters Thanks Suzanne, they're great as everything you do!
I love the originality and the outcome of this drawing.
The colors are very sweet and nice, and the combination is perfect. The stroke is smooth and well defined. It reminds me of one of those old paintings of beautiful women, who called the Kings the best painters.
I would have it in the living room of my house. Because their colors are very warm and would be perfect with the color of my walls.
I hope all admire this wonderful and fantastic painting as much as I do.
