First fractals I post in quite some time.

After four years and a half of working with fractals I finally enrolled to Janet Parke's clases at the Visual Arts Academy: [link] and I'm simply having a grrrreat time! Back to the roots =D.

I thought I'd post some of the exercises I did for the course, I hope they show my love for fractals -and not only how much I still have to learn :ohmygod:.

This was an exercise applying the Smooth (Mandelbrot) and the Gaussian Integer colouring formulas to a nice little Mandy.

Something about this just makes my heart dance. I love the colors. I think they really make the mood for this one. I would love to have a fabric print of this. I'm thinking about getting a sari and this would be too gorgeous for it. :love: :+favlove:

We all changed the inside colouring following Janet's instructions. As for the rest... it looks quite Christmassy to me (red and green, you know =D).

Hi there and thank you! I was just "telling" Robert that this colour combination reminds me of Christmass but I also find it cheerful and energetic... in some way? :heart:
