lost his throne,
this man walked the streets
of the Secret City at night,
cloaked in a dark satin robe
with golden embroideries,
a black hood covering his head.
No one should recognize him.
The guards of the palace had been
warned to look the other way
when he walked down the vast stairway.
He was coming to me,
his beauty lost in the shadows.

Oh. Wow. This is, indeed, imperial. The regal, deep color, the marbled texture... The chaotic shapes indicate the heart and mind of a secret lover. Incredible work, Ersi. One of your best.
